    Afternoon shift: Sunday to Thursday; 3 PM to 11 PM
    Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday; 7 am - 7 pm 36 hours.
    Rate: $26.40

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate food safety and quality concepts (e.g. cleaning and sanitation of equipment) in a baking facility
    • Maintain a high level of sanitation in all areas of the facility
    • Complete all daily sanitation tasks, as per the Sanitation Checklist
    • Responsible for additional weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual tasks as laid out by the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)
    • Properly document completed tasks on POKA and MSS tracker
    • Operate floor scrubber machines
    • Ensure that all manufacturing equipment is cleaned, sanitized and handled according to company standards
    • Assist in the cleaning of production lines and ensures that lines are properly cleaned within the acceptable time frame
    • Exposure to/working with chemicals (detergents bleach, etc.)
    • Experience with moving and dismantling equipment to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation
    • Lockout- tag out experience
    • Support in any additional required sanitation tasks on shift

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Post-Secondary School Degree/Diploma
    • 1-3 years relevant working experience in a food will be considered an asset
    • Individual will need to be detail oriented which will ensure that the cleaning/sanitation functions are executed according to the SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
    • Experience with moving and dismantling equipment to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation
    • Lockout- tag out knowledge
    • Exposure to/working with chemicals (detergents bleach, etc.)
    • Ability to lift 25 - 40 kg on a continuous manual basis
    • Strong technical skills, and an analytical approach to problem-solving
