Afternoon shift: Sunday to Thursday; 3 PM to 11 PM Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday; 7 am - 7 pm 36 hours. Rate: $26.40
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate food safety and quality concepts (e.g. cleaning and sanitation of equipment) in a baking facility
Maintain a high level of sanitation in all areas of the facility
Complete all daily sanitation tasks, as per the Sanitation Checklist
Responsible for additional weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual tasks as laid out by the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)
Properly document completed tasks on POKA and MSS tracker
Operate floor scrubber machines
Ensure that all manufacturing equipment is cleaned, sanitized and handled according to company standards
Assist in the cleaning of production lines and ensures that lines are properly cleaned within the acceptable time frame
Exposure to/working with chemicals (detergents bleach, etc.)
Experience with moving and dismantling equipment to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation
Lockout- tag out experience
Support in any additional required sanitation tasks on shift
Qualifications and Skills:
Post-Secondary School Degree/Diploma
1-3 years relevant working experience in a food will be considered an asset
Individual will need to be detail oriented which will ensure that the cleaning/sanitation functions are executed according to the SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
Experience with moving and dismantling equipment to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation
Lockout- tag out knowledge
Exposure to/working with chemicals (detergents bleach, etc.)
Ability to lift 25 - 40 kg on a continuous manual basis
Strong technical skills, and an analytical approach to problem-solving
