Ingredients

  • 1 box of Breton Multigrain crackers
  • 1 box of Vinta Original crackers
  • 1 8 oz Brie cheese wheel
  • 1 Herbed goat cheese
  • 100g of thinly sliced cured meats (assortment of: salami, calabrese, capocollo)
  • 1 small jar of fig jam and orange marmalade
  • 1 small jar of gherkins or mini pickles
  • Mix of garnishes including: 1 cup of pomegranate seeds, orange slices or tangerine slices

**this recipe also requires a star-shaped cookie cutter (or feel free to substitute for another holiday shape of your choice)

Preparation

  1. Select your (food safe) board or platter to start. We like to use a round wooden cutting board or charcuterie board, which you can find at a home or kitchen store.
  2. Place 1 Brie cheese in the center of the board.
  3. Place your cookie cutter (star shape) on top of the Brie cheese and fill with orange marmalade.
  4. Add your cured meats, mini pickles, goat cheese and crackers to the board in a fanned-out format from the Brie cheese.
  5. Fill the board with festive garnishes: pomegranate seeds, orange slices, fig jam in ramekin.

Pro Tip

Using toothpicks or wooden skewers create a pattern of mini pickles and meat to enhance the guest experience! Also consider including Breton Gluten Free crackers for those that may need an alternative option.
